NASS

The company

About NASS

NASS, New Age Safety Solutions, was founded by Adam Murphy in Scotland to bring together two things that the HSE industry too often keeps separate: genuine operational expertise and practical technology.

Where it started

Over a decade on the ground

For over a decade, Adam has worked as an HSE Advisor and Manager across construction, energy, utilities, renewables, and manufacturing, most recently as project HSE lead on a major energy centre in Glasgow. Along the way, he started specialising in digitising HSE processes using Microsoft tools, building observation reporting systems, inspection workflows, and Power BI dashboards for clients trying to get a grip on safety data across fragmented systems.

On site

The breaking point

It worked. Up to a point. The limitations of building safety systems with off-the-shelf office tools became impossible to ignore. On one project, Adam found himself managing three fragmented systems that did not talk to each other, with contractor data getting grouped anonymously and permit information locked away in a client platform he could not query.

That is the moment Veraxon was conceived, not as a startup idea, but as the system that should have existed.

Today

Consultancy and product, one company

NASS now operates as both an HSE consultancy and the company building Veraxon. The consultancy keeps us honest, rooted in the reality of how safety is actually managed on site. Veraxon is where that experience turns into software.
